Princess Anna of Arendelle. That's what they all call me at least. But I'm not that princess. I'm just Anna, younger sister to Elsa: the princess turned queen of Arendelle.
Please don't be intimidated by my energetic and slightly awkward personality; I'm just not used to meeting new people. I've been cooped up in this castle my whole life so I'm not used to meeting other human beings.
So, would you like to build a snowman?

[was it true? would she forgive him? for what he did, for who he was. for the secret he had kept. anna was special. no doubt. whoelse would accept, his other half. h i s d a r k h a l f
don’t let go. don’t let me go. hold me close. hear to heart. take my breath away.] ‘I’m full of secrets, & you’re about to get to know them.’
“Scott, you don’t need to tell me. I swear you don’t need to tell me anything."
{ Anna did want to know all the secrets that he had been keeping from her, but right now she didn’t think she was able to hear any more secrets today without her head exploding. }
The sudden move of Anna was unexpected, even though he had to admit that he knew it would happen. Sooner or later. Not moving backwards, while she had pressed her soft lips onto his, closing his eyes immediately.
It made him feeling butterflies for a very short second in his stomach. A feeling he hadn’t felt in such a long time. Pulling away slowly, he looked into the other ones eyes, while a small smile played up on his face.
‘—Your heart has been u n f r o z e n for a long time now. Since the day you met me.’
“That’s not completely true. My heart was frozen in the sense that I refused to feel anything. As I got to know you I began to feel more and more like myself– the old me– and before I knew what was going on it just… happened. I realized that the girl who I had been coming here wasn’t me anymore. I’m not, nor will I ever be, that girl again. I won’t let myself be taken over by guilt for what has happened in the past no matter how badly I want too.
Just… please don’t hold anything I said against me. I was just trying to get you to hate me or to do something so I could make myself feel like I had coming here. I pushed you against everything that I knew would get anyone else to snap at me but you stayed strong. You’re incredible.”
Anna rested her forehead against his shoulder as she let herself relax. She could feel her breathing steady as she wrapped her arms around him. “You’ve changed since you met me. In a good way I think.”
“What are you, Scott? I thought we weren’t keeping secrets from each other because we wanted something. Well, I guess I wanted to have something with you. A relationship.
You blatantly lied to my face when I asked if there was anything you were keeping from me. I wouldn’t have even cared what you are if you had just told me before but now…
Anna had been walking home from school like she always did, making sure that no one saw her go out one of the side entrances of the school. She didn’t exactly live like everyone else in Beacon Hills High School. Most lived with family of some sort but Anna wasn’t like the others. She was living in one of those dingy motel rooms that were cheap and also didn’t leave a paper trail. She had moved from the apartment she had previously been renting due to her having recently going rogue from the mission she had been sent on. The mission that to save her sister she would need to hurt a certain Scott McCall.
A certain Scott McCall who she was now unofficially dating.
After she had told him the truth and he had forgiven her the two of them practically spent all their time together. She would hear from Stiles how if they didn’t give each other space he would pry them apart with a crowbar or something strange and obscure that Anna would laugh at but secretly remind herself to look up when she got back. Not even two days after she had abandoned the mission had she gotten her first threat. A rock through the window with a note attached that she burned before even reading it. She was done playing their games but apparently she had just become the next target.
Apparently someone had found and helped Elsa break free. She was now back in Arendelle but she was under constant surveillance. Anna didn’t have to worry anymore, or so she thought. Every day she would get threatened before she had walked to her apartment to find the door unlocked. Walking in she found her whole place to be trashed and, written in her favorite pink lipstick, was a message.
S A Y G O O D B Y E .
She had left her apartment right after that. She still paid the rent but she didn’t stay there. She had gone to the nicest motel she could find and she bought a room. It was an adjustment for her but she soon learned how to cope. When Scott would ask if he could come over she would always tell him that the apartment was a mess– which wasn’t exactly a lie– and that she didn’t want him to see it until she was done making changes to it. She knew he was suspicious but she was thankful he dropped the subject.
Today, coming back to the motel, she knew something wasn’t right. That feeling in her gut was telling her to run away but she just ignored it and trudged ahead as if nothing was wrong. She got to her room and bent down to see if the spare key was there when she felt a blunt object slam into the back of her head, knocking her out immediately.
Everything after that was a hazy blur. She could remember hearing things and being dragged into her room. People were tying her hands together and to something before there was a slam and a growl. There was something happening that had a dog dealing in it. Anna slowly gained back brief consciousness as she saw the scene unfold before her. She was tied to the bed by her bound wrists. In front of her there were about four men all trying to fight someone who looked like Scott through her blurred vision. As her eyes began to focus, she heard the animalistic snarl and right away she realized that it was Scott.
"Scott?“ She whispered out his name as someone snuck up behind him. Realizing he wouldn’t know that there was someone there she, without hesitation, shrieked out two words: ”BEHIND YOU!“
Right away, Scott had turned and that was when Anna saw his features. The strangely colored eyes were the first thing that she saw before she took in the rest of his face and hands. Her mouth opened a bit as she tried to think of what she could say. She didn’t have to think for very long because instantaneously two men burst in, one from the living room door and the other from the bathroom that was close to the bed. She let out a scream as she fought against the restraints but she was soon quieted by a cloth put over her mouth and nose. Her struggles slowed as her eyes drooped. She tried to fight it but she couldn’t.
Making a few steps forward to the girl, stopping, placing her hands into his much bigger ones. A heavy breath, his dark orbs focused on hers.
‘C l o s e y o u r e y e s
a n d
f e e l!’
After all the time he had spend with Anna, the connection between them grew. It grew and became as strong as no other. Did she felt the same way he did? In not even a matter of minutes he would know, if only she would just,
—-f e e l !
‘Every heart, if frozen or not, has a warm center. It will melt.’
"I–“
Instead of closing her eyes and letting herself feel what both she and Scott knew to be true she leaned in and pressed her lips to his. Her heart was racing from the very second she kissed him to when she pulled back and stared up at him, feeling the fluctuation his heartbeat had when she had kissed him.
A small smile turned up her lips as she let out a breathy chuckle. Her heart wasn’t truly frozen. There were shards left but not her whole heart. If her heart had been completely frozen she would’ve been an ice sculpture by now. It was just the mental idea and the feelings that a frozen heart had were what had haunted her. Realizing what she had just done she looked down at her feet.
”– Sorry. I was way out of line. I just– I don’t– I’m awkward. Very very awkward.“
He tried. Tried what she wanted him to do. She wanted him to hate her, but how? How could you hate someone you feel this strong connection to.
You can’t and you won’t.
Scott didn’t wanted her to go, to feel like she coudln’t feel anything at all. How could he show her how to start feel again. The r e a l Anna wouldn’t say such things. She would listen to Scott’s words. His quiet voice, which was filling the space around them.
‘Let me u n f r e e z e it.’
“How?”
He didn’t know what it took to thaw a frozen heart. It made no difference if he knew or not because there was no way that he could thaw her heart. She wouldn't let him. She had done so many things that she had never been punished for. This was her punishment. Being around someone who noticed you but would never feel the same towards you. She was pining for a way to tell him how she felt but she would never take the opportunity if it ever arose. She didn’t want him to know that she had fallen in love with him when she knew there wasn’t a chance he would like her– let alone love her– so she was just saving herself the disappointment.
"You have no idea what you’re asking to do. You don’t know how! Frozen hearts are different than werewolf bites or other weird supernatural things! You can’t suck the pain out of me! I don’t deserve it. I don’t–“
Some people are just worth melting for.
Olaf’s words rang through her mind as if he were there saying them. She remembered the first day at Beacon Hills when she met Scott who introduced her to Stiles. Stiles, the boy who reminded her so much of the happy snowman from her home. Scott was going through so much right now and she was just getting in the way. She was trying to get attention when she swore that she didn’t want any attention to be drawn to herself.

She wanted to tell him that she was just putting on an act to protect herself but she was to cowardly to admit it. The once brave, fiery, and feisty princess had been reduced to something so demeaning that she had to tell herself what she was doing was just. She knew Elsa would find a way out and she wouldn’t need to kill anyone but she couldn’t stop herself from telling Scott what she had been forced to agree to do. She had thought it would be easy to get close to him and make him trust her and it had been. Her and Scott had connected almost immediately. There was something about him that calmed her nerves and made her remember what it was like before all the madness.
His smile, his eyes, the way he always knew that something was wrong– it all made her feel like she belonged. He was treating her the way she dreamed people would treat her: like a human being. Everyone always saw her as her title and never as the real her. The first person who she thought had seen the real her had turned out to be the worst person she had ever met. Scott was genuine.
The reason she told him the truth was because she needed him to hate her. She figured that if he hated her she would stop feeling this way about him.
She figured if he shut her out like everyone else had in her life
