Surprised dragons were real… Well. That was a first. On Berk, they were quite common. But apparently, not here. He knew he had flown pretty far, but he didn’t realize he had gone that far. Then again, he was rather… irritated when he had left his village… That was a story for another time, however. He remained silent to let her continue speaking, though he only found himself growing confused, eyebrows furrowing together. Arendelle? Monster snowman? Marshmallow? Reindeer? O-kay, then… He had to be a far ways away from home. Either that or this girl was insane. He’d much rather prefer the former. He had been flying all day until he found this place. He was really hoping that he didn’t have to deal with an insane woman on top of that. Besides, she didn’t know about dragons, so why shouldn’t he believe her about these… monster snowmen? Give her the benefit of the doubt. “Well, I, uh… Where I come from, these guys are pretty common,” he answered with a smile, placing a hand on Toothless’s head, much to the dragon’s appreciation. “None like Toothless, though. He’s special. Maybe even the last of his kind.” But that was also why he had to protect him, keep him hidden from everyone on Berk. They couldn’t know about him.
He let his hand fall away in favour of watching the exchange between the dragon and the woman, making sure to keep careful observation just in case things went wrong. He could calm the dragon down, sure, but he didn’t want him frightening anyone, either. He wasn’t completely sure how he would react around strangers; never had been. He watched carefully as the dragon inched forward, curious about the hand offered to him. A few sniffs, nostrils flaring, and the Night Fury pushed his head forward, forked tongue flicking out to lick at the woman’s hand, earning a laugh from his rider. Toothless huffed and shook his head, giving Hiccup a disgruntled purr and soft glare. “It’s okay, bud, I’m not laughing at you,” Hiccup reassured, amusement laced within his words as he patted the dragon’s hand. He smiled to the girl. “Seems he likes you. He is really strong and powerful, but he’s not really that scary. He’s like an oversized cat. Wouldn’t hurt a fly.”
Then the attention was drawn to him. Toothless didn’t seem phased by the sudden movement of her standing, instead wandering a few feet away to settle down in the grass, tail curling in front of him while cat-like eyes watched the both of them. Hiccup glanced to the Night Fury to assure himself that the dragon wasn’t going anywhere, but as soon as his curiosity was satisfied, he looked back to the girl, a smile on his lips. Wow, she sure was friendly. It was… rather strange. Usually the people he met regarded him with belittling words or a rough attitude. Or tried to kill him, in Dagur’s case… He tried to not think about that. It certainly was a nice change, to have someone acting so friendly and kind to him, rather than punching his arm or taunting him. Not that he was bullied, of course, just… he was weaker than everyone else… And that was very much looked down upon in viking society… “It’s nice to meet you, Anna,” he responded with a nod of his head, “I’m Hiccup. And, as you know, this is Toothless.” He motioned to the dragon, who had now laid his head down and cracked open an eye at his name only to close it again. Lazy dragon… He dismissed the thought. “I’m from a village pretty… pretty far from here. Berk, if you’ve heard of it.”

"Sorry to say I’ve never heard of it. I don’t know of many places outside of Arendelle other than Corona and Weselton. All the others just get jumbled up and I mess up their names and what is significantly different from them to Arendelle. I’ll definitely remember Berk from now on though seeing as there are dragons.“ Anna chuckled awkwardly as she realized how truly bizarre she must seem to Hiccup after having flown into a place he supposedly didn’t know. She should learn by now that when meeting new people she should wait for them to talk to her and she should pretend to be Elsa and be as refined as possible. It just wasn’t fun for her and she found that whenever she tried to be anything but herself she just felt so wrong. People seemed to like her even less when she tried to be someone else and they wouldn’t give her a second chance for a first impression. She should be glad that he was even talking to her and letting her befriend Toothless. Hey, at least she could get along with a dragon so that’s an accomplishment, right? Not many people in Arendelle can say that they’ve done that in their lifetimes.
Looking back at Toothless she gave him a small smile before walking over to him and sat down next to him as she let out a light chortle. "You have great taste, Toothless. That’s always where I lie down and just look up and watch the clouds.” As Anna spoke she let herself look up at the sky and a sincere smile turned up her lips. “I love finding images and messages in the clouds. You can make up a whole story based on one cloud. Like that one.” Anna pointed to a cloud that vaguely in her mind resembled a giant snowflake, “That one could have been formed to warn Arendelle or anyone who looks up that snow is coming soon or that it will be cold. Unlike the one next to it which looks like a crown. The crown could mean many things but I won’t bore you with the details!” Anna looked around at the surroundings before patting Toothless’s head lightly before she stood up and stretched. She would probably need to be going soon to get back to the castle before everyone started looking for her. That was one of the worst experiences of her life when she was little and she had played hide and seek. She had hid so well that it took everyone in the castle until way past her bedtime to even find her. She had hid in one of the suits of armor and the only reason someone had found her was because they heard a soft snore coming from the suit. She had been put in time out as soon as she had woken up from her sleep and she had gone out to ask for breakfast. Her father had been so angry that he had told her to go back to her room and wait until her time out was done to have breakfast. He had made her run to her room in tears because she didn’t know what she had done wrong. That was the last time she had ever let herself be missing from the views of anyone in the castle for more than a few hours.
"Is there something you need help finding around Arendelle? I’ve lived here my whole life and know it like the back of my hand.“ Anna looked at the back of her hand as if that would prove a point before she looked around after thinking she had heard something. "Did you hear–” Anna was cut off by hearing someone call her name. She recognized the voice immediately and she turned in surprise. “Kristoff! I’m here but I’m just relaxing. Go take Sven back to the castle and I’ll meet you there. I just needed to get away from everything after I had my third attempt at trying to get someone to court me after Elsa said no.” She could hear him walk away and she let out a sigh of relief before she realized that she had just revealed what she was to the one person who would treat her like a normal person. “I– uh– I can explain that…”
"I accept you for who you are and I know that those Hooligans are missing out on the best person they could ever have....
Well. This was… interesting… The more she talked, the more he realized she was becoming more and more frantic. He wanted...
